The Binder Bros. name has always been associated with quality. Started as a German company, they became a respected firm in New York.
It's difficult to pinpoint the timeline for this lovely piece, but my best guess from the style would be the 1930-40's? It has the Art Nouveau look and certainly has the style of that era. It's marked on the back with a cartouche saying "1/20 12K GF" and the two capital B's in overlapping circles, their standard trademark. It measures 1-3/4" in length and is 1" wide. It's in lovely vintage condition.
