Estate Sale Find: Baroque pearls are simply pearls that have an irregular shape. Freshwater pearls are most commonly baroque as freshwater pearls are mantle-tissue nucleated instead of bead nucleated. So the pearls are rarely perfectly spherical and can appear oval or ovoid.
