“Sun” Rosette — Hand-Carved Walnut Wood | Unique Decorative Artwork

Dimensions: 140 cm diameter × 14 cm central thickness
Material: Premium walnut wood
Technique: Hand-carved wood
Type: Unique Original Woodcarving

“Sun” is a monumental hand-carved walnut wood rosette, designed as a distinctive decorative artwork for ceilings or walls.

The entire piece was carved by hand by me, Stefan Doychinov, using traditional woodcarving tools. The work combines ornamental beauty with symbolic meaning, creating a composition intended to bring warmth, harmony, and a sense of continuity to an interior.

At the centre is a circular arrangement of floral motifs. Its continuous, uninterrupted form has no beginning or end and symbolizes infinity.

The central rose represents affection, love, and harmony, while the radiating elements are stylized wheat stalks — an ancient symbol of fertility, abundance, and prosperity.

The natural character of the walnut wood is an essential part of the work. The surface has been carefully finished with a wax-based protective coating containing UV protection, designed to help preserve the natural grain and rich colour of the wood.

With its substantial scale and highly detailed hand-carved relief, “Sun” is particularly suitable for prestigious interiors, hotels, restaurants, establishments, private residences, and other spaces where a distinctive handcrafted artwork is desired.

This is a unique one-of-a-kind work. No identical copy exists.
