This is really an interesting little brooch/pin from an estate...a six-pointed openworked goldtoned metal mounting is just the beginning. You're drawn to the oval green glass stone in the center...it has a "star" in it...six-pointed like the mounting.
The green stone is accented by six larger clear chaton rhinestones surrounding it; at points in between the rhinestones there are tiny decorative fleur de lis' that make you look closely to see if they are more thinestones!. It measures 1-1/2" across the widest points and is in excellent condition. It's unsigned but nicely designed.
This is a great little piece of vintage jewelry and certain to be a conversation piece whenever it's worn!
