Bohemian Hand Blown Art Glass Basket with Spatter Circa 1930's

This vintage cased art glass basket has a bright spatter glass base which goes halfway up the body. The bulbous tapered base and wide flared mouth are a signature of several of the great designers/manufacturers of the 1930's. This one is attributed to Wilhelm Kralik Sohn (Son's/ & Son) of Bohemia (the current Czech Republic). The apple green bowl has an impressive cobalt blue applied handle, which is another Kralik trademark. This is truly a unique basket, as are all end-of-day style pieces, and is circa 1930-1940. Basket is in very good condition - it has minor rim edge roughness and two curved straw marks on the basket's flared upper rim, all done at the time of manufacture (see photos).
