Reticulated Bowl with Roses Retsch Porcelain Co. Edwardian Antique C. 1907

This oval fruit bowl, dating from about 1907, has beautiful reticulated and embossed sides. Decorating the interior of the bowl is a display of pink transfer printed roses. There is gold trim on the porcelain 'spokes', the two handles and the rim (slightly worn on the handles & rim). Marked, ''RW'' in a shield; the bottom part of the mark is smeared and unreadable. It is an early Retsch Porcelain Co. mark, and underneath the shield would be, "Bavaria" (Germany). Length: 12.75 in.; width: 8.5 in.; 2.5 inches deep. The dish is in excellent condition, except as noted. (#41102-AO)
