Chesterfield Cigarette Tin Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co. Vintage Tobacciana

This Chesterfield cigarette tin is decorated with a gold crown, the product name in gold letters and striping on the front. It is marked, “Factory No. 25/ District of Virginia” and “Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co.” On the inside top of the box it states, "Chesterfield Cigarettes are a balanced blend of the finest aromatic Turkish tobacco and the choicest of several American varieties blended in the correct proportion to bring out the finer qualities of each tobacco." Length: 5½ in. (14 cm); width: 4 3/8 in. (11.2 cm); height: 5/8 in. (1.7 cm). Good condition ~ there is some wear as seen in the photos, but no dents. The original stamp is present which reads, "U.S./ I.R./ CIGARETTES / CLASS A/ 50". (#37114-C+)
