A lovely small water pitcher or jug or use it for cream, milk or juice or keep it merely as an addition to your handmade pottery collection.
The pitcher is handmade, hand thrown on a wheel and has a broad lip and ornate handle. The glaze is dripped or dribbled on and is pine green over a very pale grayish green. It is made of red clay.
The pitcher is 5 inches tall or 6.5 inches high at the handle. Condition is perfect. Age unknown. It is marked Alexaware but the W looks more like an M, and Made in Belgium 188.
I can find nothing about Alexaware on the internet and assume it is a small pottery in Belgium. What can I say. They turn out great pottery.
