This little dish was made in France by Limoges LEC. It is porcelain and in the shape of a scallop shell, one of the most beautiful shapes in nature. The dish is decorated with a floral motif dominated by a large full blown pink rose and is trimmed all round with gold. It is 3.5 x 4 inches and in perfect preowned condition.
Age unknown but the back stamp was used between 1945 and 1979. LEC or LeClair operated between 1945 and the end of the 20th century.
