Early Vintage Miriam Haskell Pearl Pin with Cut Steel

A Fabulous Vintage Miriam Haskell Pearl Pin with Steel Cuts, Early Horseshoe Mark with Bird End, circa 1950. This beautiful pin is signed on the back in the older horseshoe shaped mark "Miriam Haskell". The pin is adorned with signature Haskell glass baroque pearls and alluring antique steel cut accents. The metal is antique gold gilt metal and has the filigree backing. The tip is adorned with a bird, another early element seen in Haskell jewels, and is to be removed in order to slide the pin through the fabric and then fits back on to hold the pin in place. Overall the pin measures about 3 1/4 inches long by about 1 5/8 inch wide and is in lovely vintage condition for its age. A rare find.
