This lovely cup and saucer is from Old Royal, England, founded in 1846. It features spikes of foxglove or hollyhock. Besides the soft colored flowers, there are spidery shadows of the foliage in the background.
This is a hand painted set and was made between 1930 and 1941 according to the marks on the bottom. This is bone china but Old Royal did not add 'bone' to the stamp until 1945. There is no damage of any kind.
