Unusual faux pearl opera length rope necklace with pendant vintage ll2934

I found this while on vacation and thought it was an unusual but elegant faux pearl necklace. It is plastic pearls with gold tone plastic spacers. The rope is 2 strands of pearls held together by the oblong gold spacers so as to form one double wide strand. The rope is 32 inches long. The pendant which is sort of like a star or sunburst is 1.75 inches in diameter.

Condition of the rope part is perfect. A few of the gold spacers on the pendant show color wear but you have to be looking close to notice. This piece shows well.
