Commemorative Unused Prepaid Postal Card-The Daylight GS-4 Steam Locomotive Stamp
Very nice collectible commemoritive UNUSED Prepaid Postcard for the .20 CENT STAMP of a GS-4 Steam Locomotive Train.
Back of postcard is marked: @1998 USPS. Called the "Most Beautiful Train in the World," the Daylight connected Los Angeles and San Francisco. In 1941, new GS-4 steam locomotives pulled the red-and-orange train along Pacific Ocean beaches and up El Camino Real - the King's Highway.
Has a backstamp of: OSHTEMO, MI 49077, dating MAY 18, 2001 ~ with the PEANUTS STAMPS GOLD STAMP with the figure of SNOOPY.
CONDITION: EXCELLENT, UNUSED, UNFADED. Vibrant coloring. The surface is a glossy finish.
Measures a LARGER 6 inches wide by 4-1/4 inches high.
