Commemorative Unused Prepaid Postal Card-The Super Chief E-1 Locomotive Stamp
Very nice collectible commemoritive UNUSED Prepaid Postcard for the .20 CENT STAMP of the Super Chief Locomotive Train.
Back of postcard is marked: @1998 USPS. Preferred train of Hollywood's elite traveling between Chicago and Los Angeles via Albuquerque, the Super Chief was known as the "Train of the Stars." Starting in 1937 with the E-1 type, diesel locomotives with a distinctive red-and-silver warbonnet design pulled luxurious stainless cars.
Has a backstamp of: OSHTEMO, MI 49077, dating MAY 18, 2001 ~ with the PEANUTS STAMPS BLACK STAMP with the figure of SNOOPY.
CONDITION: EXCELLENT, UNUSED, UNFADED. Vibrant coloring. The surface is a glossy finish.
Measures a LARGER 6 inches wide by 4-1/4 inches high.
