Nice vintage piece to add to your collection. This is an UNUSED Postcard Commemorative for the BATTLE OF THE ATLANTIC ~ THE VICTORY IN EUROPE SERIES. PLYMOUTH DEVON 26th MAY 1985.

Depicts the crew of a Coastal Command Flying Fortress being briefed. Reproduced from a British official colour transparency taken in 1943. @ Imperial War Museum (TR 1082).

Printed by Raithby, Lawrence & Company Ltd, Leicester and London.

Also has a sticker on the back saying: Henry Murray ARLINGTON SUPPLIES Ltd. PO Box 143, 273 Green Lanes, London N13 4XN

The postcard is also affixed with the 16P gray stamp with Queen Elizabeth.

EXCELLENT CONDITION. Unused, stored in dry place, never exposed to any light. Measures 5-7/8 inches wide by 4-1/8 inches high.
