1933 Fougasse-A Woodland Echo-Lithograph Print Page by The Sketch
An Original Vintage Larger Lithograph Print taken out of a page from the publication ~ THE SKETCH, July 26, 1933.
A whimsical illustration that depicts two scenes. A before and an after. The top print is of an over populated grouping of trees in a rural area.
The after picture is the same area now populalized into modern suburbia. Newer houses replaced the trees. Each residence has a wooden gate that are named: The Oaks, The Beeches, and The Elms.
Is Artist Signed in the lower left hand corner: Drawn by Fougasse.
Overall with white surrounding border it measures 9-1/2 inches wide by 12-1/2 inches high. EXCELLENT CONDITION, slight edge wear.
