Faux cinnabar bangle bracelet floral motif red vintage ll2870

This bangle is gorgeous howbeit not genuine cinnabar. Those are very rare. I use the term to describe the color and the carved design.

This bangle is 2.75 inches in diameter and 5/8 inch wide. The cinnabar has been applied to a thin metal bangle inside and out with the outside being a deeply carved floral motif. As I understand it, powdered or ground cinnabar is added to a polymer compound and molded into the designs. Genuine cinnabar jewelry. made from the mineral called cinnabar, is carved like jade.

The inside has a couple of scratches in the finish. The outside is perfect.
