For copper lovers, here is a demi-Parure that combines copper and melted class or cloisonne. This set is artisan made and consists of a large pendant on a copper snake chain and drop earrings on shepherd's crook ear wires. The pieces are in superior vintage condition.
The necklace is a heavy pendant of cloisonne in a brandy color applied to a free-form copper oval. It is on a 16 inch copper snake chain with a 2.5 inch extender chain. It has a lobster claw clasp. The pendant is 2 inches by 1 5/8 inches. There is no reason this couldn't be worn reversed as a copper pendant.
The earrings are 1.25 inches long by 7/8 inch wide and in a tear drop shape. They dangle from copper ear wires. These are not reversible unless you want to use a pair of pliers to open the loop and reverse the drop each time you wear them. Can be done however.
This is handmade jewelry expertly made and in superior condition. Judging from the modern style and the materials used, I estimate these pieces are from the mid 1970s. Could be a little older or younger, but not much.
Please note that I have a bracelet I purchased with these that is not an exact match but would compliment this set very well. It is item # ll2850.EB
