San Francisco Stoner power trio fronted by erstwhile BLOOD LIBEL vocalist / bassist Erika Stolz, also of AMBER ASYLUM. Guitarist Eric Peterson was previously with Wisconsin act NATURAL CAUSE whilst drummer Tina Gordon has credits with T.N.T. The LOST GOAT triumvirate came together during 1994. A split album with GRINCH surfaced through the Misanthropic label and in 1996 the 'Trapped On Earth' album. Touring found LOST GOAT as far afield as Alaska as guests to 7 YEAR BITCH the following year.
During 1999 LOST GOAT toured America with L7 and NEBULA promoting the 'Equator' album, released by Man's Ruin on CD and Tee Pee Records for vinyl format. Further dates saw the band on the road with HIGH ON FIRE. The band got more than they bargained for when touring with MEN OF PORN during 2000 as the headline act lost half their band contingent. In order to complete the dates Stoltz and LOST GOAT roadie John Michaels substituted on bass and drums respectively.
Erica Stolz would contribute guest vocals to Portland's WITCH MOUNTAIN 2001 album '...Come The Mountain' on the track 'A Power Greater'. During early 2004 Eric Peterson and Tina Gordon forged NIGHT AFTER NIGHT, a 2004 collaboration of Stoner elite also comprising DEAD AND GONE vocalist Shane Baker, Joe Obejat from THE APPRECIATION on guitars and bassist Brian Hill of MEN OF PORN, SPLITH, ACID KING and BUZZOV.EN.
