This lovely Demi Parure dates from the early 1940s, perhaps a little earlier. It consists of a pendant on chain and a pair of screwback earrings. The set does not look to have been worn and are still in their original box which is a little worn but still intact.
The pendant and earrings are made of black porcelain rectangles with slightly rounded corners that are hand painted with a pink and white bud or they could be scallops of pink. The porcelain is framed in prong set rhinestones. The setting is gold plated metal. The set is not marked nor is the box.
The pendant is 1 x .75 inches with a 16 inch chain. The earrings are .50 inch. Everything is in perfect apparently unused conditon except one rhinestone on the pendant is dead. It is not missing and could be replaced if desired.
