24K gold filled clip earrings made Germany 2 texture finish modern styling as new vintage ll2768

Very pretty clip back earrings that were made in Germany and are marked on the clips: 1/4 24K GF with a stamped maker's mark and Made in Germany. The finish is satin on the outer edges and a cross-hatched texture to the center. The earrings are worn with the point down. Clips are unusual (see picture). Condition is excellent. Not sure of the age of these. They were either made pre WWII or before the partitioning of Germany or after the 1989 reunification. The style is more Art Deco than mid century modern or recent. The earrings tip to tip are 1 inch.
