Carl-Art was founded by Carl Schraysshuen and Arthur Loercher in 1936. They made and sold jewelry under their own name, but also made jewelry for other companies such as Walter Lampl. Carl died in 1953 and his wife sold his half of the company. Carl-Art, Inc. is still in business today under different management.
