Here's a charming amethyst glass hippo figurine made from the original Fenton Glass mold by Mosser Glass, a small family run business in Ohio that is well known for their high-quality art glass. It is made in amethyst satin glass for the first time and hand painted and offered as a limited edition, gift shop exclusive, limited to only 27 in this design. The hippo has pretty blue eyes and a toucan and baby hippo on the front. There are accents of jungle vegetation on the front and back and a crocodile and the back as well. It also has charming heart-shaped pads on its feet. It stands approximately 3" tall by 2.5" wide and is in great condition with no chips, cracks or damage. It is signed, dated and numbered by Fenton artist and designer, Kim Barley. It would make a fabulous gift for your favorite hippo lover or a great part of your Fenton collection!
