Radio Shack / Realistic Weatheradio 12-151A - 1983 Vintage

This is a Realistic Crystal Controlled weather radio from Radio Shack, model 12-151A. It runs on a 9 volt battery (not included), and features a telescoping antenna and three different frequencies to tun in to: 162.40 MHz, 162.475 MHz and 162.55 MHz. It powers up, and I can get static on all three channels, but do not hear any actual broadcasts. Don't know if it is because of my location or perhaps no one broadcasts on those frequencies any more.
