Large Italian silk scarf floral jacquard Art Deco style floral unused vintage ll1745

This is one of those scarves that make me want to jump up and down and scream Rah! Rah! It has no labels or signature but this is the highest quality Italian silk. The silk is woven with a jacquard floral pattern and printed in the most divine floral of dark pink, sage, and ochre. The pattern reminds me of old deco slip covers, drapes and wallpaper.

The background color is a very deep wine or burgundy. Sort of like Madeira. It looks brown under certain lighting conditions. The photos show the two varying colorations. The hem is hand-rolled and fat.

The scarf measures 35 x 36 inches. The condition is as it came from the store. Not a flaw. Wonderful as a scarf/shawl, but it would also be magnificent as a table topper over a sand, ochre or wine cloth.
