Fenton Art Glass Antique Early 1900's Crystal Satin Bulldog Dog Figurine

Here's a cute bulldog figurine made by the Fenton Art Glass Company in the early 1900's. It is made of crystal satin glass and has rhinestone eyes but those may not be original. It is free from chips or cracks, but this is a crude mold and there is roughness about the mold lines, especially on the face and feet. These were called "novelty dogs" when originally made and were marketed at "Dime stores." It is identified as Fenton by the tell-tale eraser sized "hole" in the bottom and which side the buckle of his collar is on. It stands approximately 2.75" tall. It would make a fabulous gift for your favorite dog lover or Fenton collector!
