RhinoPRONT® Combi Tablets
Almost everyone is plagued by a cold once or several times a year, whether it is a common cold or an allergic reaction. In most cases this is harmless, but sometimes it is not just a superficial cold, but settles deep in the sinuses. Then you feel a strong pressure in the forehead area and behind the cheekbones when you bend over or cough, and you feel really sick.
RhinoPRONT® Kombi tablets are a combination preparation with the two active ingredients pseudoephedrine and triprolidine.
Pseudoephedrine reduces swelling of the mucous membranes in the nose and paranasal sinuses.
Triprolidine has antiallergic properties and reduces the symptoms of allergic reactions on the nasal mucosa, such as sneezing, runny or stuffy nose.
RhinoPRONT® Kombi helps with both classic hay fever and the so-called runny nose, provided the nose is blocked.
The effect occurs quickly, the mucous membrane swells down, breathing is made easier and the acute symptoms of a blocked or runny nose are alleviated.
Mandatory information:
RhinoPRONT® combo tablets. Active ingredients: Pseudoephedrine HCl, triprolidine HCl 1 H2O. Area of application: Symptomatic treatment of acute, allergic or vasomotor rhinitis when accompanied by nasal congestion. For use in adolescents aged 12 and over and adults up to 60 years. Application
Adults up to 60 years and young people from 12 years:
1 tablet 3 times a day.
For people who notice a drowsy effect after taking the medicine, a single evening dose of 1 tablet may be sufficient.
The duration of treatment with the medicine for acute rhinitis is about 3 to 5 days.
In the case of allergic rhinitis or runny nose, it is advisable to limit treatment to about 10 days. Once the symptoms have improved, treatment for allergic rhinitis can be continued with an antihistamine if necessary.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the pack or carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
