3 Pieces Boonton Ware Saucers Melamine Melmac Mid Century Modern 1202-6 Pastel

This is a lot of 3 Boonton Ware Saucer Plates made here in the USA from the 1950's up thru the 60's from Melmac Melamine a very durable plastic like material that reduced frequency of broken dishes, saving you money both up front and long term. It is also tolerant to both hot and cold use due to being an insulating material rather than a conductive material. Vintage melamine pieces such as these are not microwave or truly dishwasher safe - handwashing pieces is always the best, when you see old vintage pieces where the color has faded it was most likely due to use of a dishwasher. Also to extend the life of these saucers or other pieces you have to remember the following- do not use serrated knives on, do not use in a conventional oven, do not use in the microwave, do not use chlorine bleach on and do not use any harsh abrasive cleaners, steel wool,or metal scouring pads for cleaning. For the best and safest scrubbing use a light duty white scrubbing pad.The three saucers are 5 3/4" inches in diameter and each is a different color a dark gray, yellow and a pink. Each one has on their bottom the following printed "Boonton Ware 1202-6 U.S.A."
