This magazine publication from the Veteran Motor Car Club of America, Inc. has a different name "Bulb Horn". This is the Number 5 Issue of the 30th Volume or the September-October issue of the year 1969, its cover price at the time was $1.50 or $6.50 for the year's subscription. It was published bimonthly or 6 times a year and well worth its price then or now for the wealth of information found in it relating to old cars and the dozens of photos that are a great help to us car lovers and many that are of cars never seen or rarely seen even though most of the photos in these earlier issues are all black and white or artist drawn. There is the occasional color pic to be found in its pages in fact there are 2 in this issue not counting the ones on the front or back cover. The magazine always started off with Names and Addresses of their Board of Governors, Regional Directors, and then the Regional Offices Addresses with the Chapter Officers Names including Directors, Secretary, Treasurer, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Technical Directors, Activity Directors, Membership Officers, Publicity and the many others needed for a club this size. Next would be the contents page with 3 to 5 feature stories such as this issues - "The American La France", "Those Cars Called Carter", "Newport Motor Car Festival", " Louis Renault", and "The Isotta Fraschini Light Sports Car of 1908". Also in addition to the monthly feature articles there was the regular columns such as - Editorially Speaking, Calendar of Events, Regional News, Letters to the Editor, Advertising section and much more. This is a great addition to ones own bookshelf , shop or collection or as a gift to that other special someone and well worth the price you will see when open its covers if you have not seen or read this magazine before.
