This set is from an estate and is done in the most marvelous peach color, or maybe melon. All pieces are stamped Made Austria and the styling shows.
The single strand necklace is done in the peach/melon color beads with gold colored spacers between. The clasp is a focal point in itself. It carries a large roughly shaped, almost free form circular bead that is set in a dogtooth mounting. It is pretty much peach in color. It is a pinch clasp stamped with the maker mark on the metal back.
The earrings are identical to the clasp and are clipons. They are stamped the same way. The necklace measures 23" in length; the beads are about 1/2" in diameter. The earrings are 7/8" in diameter. All pieces are in very good vintage condition.
This color would be gorgeous against a gold color, beautiful with beige, and fabulous with fall colors. You might even be surprised that it goes with some pastels with all the rainbow colors it shows. It's a lovely set.
