A Wonderful Vintage Art Deco Purple Star Sapphire Pendant Necklace Lavaliere, Approximately 31.5 carats in gem weight. This beautiful vintage pendant holds a genuine star sapphire measuring about 18mm in diameter and about 9mm deep. The stone has an alluring grayish purple type hue with natural inclusions. The stone displays a 6 point star pattern as it is moved through the light. It is beautifully set in a classic Art Deco style sterling silver setting. It comes with the gunmetal chain as show measuring about 17 inches long. Overall the pendant measures about 1 7/16 inches with the bail by about 7/8 inch wide. This piece was acquired through an estate collection. A gorgeous estate find.
