A Wonderful Antique Tigers Eye Cameo Pendant Necklace, Victorian Art Deco Heart, c.1920. The center of the pendant holds a hand carved tigers eye cameo depicting a Roman Soldier. Neo Classic Revival was a big movement circa 1900 and artisans borrowed from ancient Greek and Roman design. The cameo is set in a silver tone heart setting. The pendant measures about 1 1/2 inches long with bail by about 1 1/8 inches wide. It is estimated that this piece dates circa 1920's, Victorian to Art Deco era. It comes with gunmetal chain measuring about 16 inches long, ready to wear of for gift giving.
