Kramer New York amber rhinestone necklace 1950s demure perfect vintage ll2478

This demurely elegant necklace is ideal for the woman of all ages who is probably petite and wants glamor without glitz if you know what I mean. Lovely jewelry is wonderful but you never want it to overpower your own beauty. This piece will fall into that category.

It is just 16 inches in length and composed of closed back amber rhinestones with 9 drops. 7 of these have irridescent stones that reflect all the colors of the necklace and its environs.

The clasp is the signature Kramer hook with a rhinestone at the tip. It is signed on the side of the hook but you need a loupe to read it. You also need a better camera than I have to reproduce it. It also says something about the content. My guess is 18K gold plated from the feel and richness of the gold color. The necklace is in perfect condition. I doubt it has ever been worn.
