Sedum 'Lime Twister' is a newer member of the "Sunsparkler" family. A strong growing cream margined sport of 'Lime Zinger'. The compact mound of foliage makes it an excellent candidate for containers. Like all stonecrop "Lime Twister' is drought-tolerant once established. Sometimes in extreme summer heat the variegation is muted. PPAF.
MATURE HEIGHT: 4".
MATURE SPREAD: 16-18".
HARDINESS ZONES: 5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Hot pink, mid to late season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Full sun to part sun.
SIZE SHIPPED: 2.5" pot. (plants shipped to California may be bare root and trimmed)
This plant is a wonderful hardy perennial (it comes back each year). Sedum are a favorite of butterflies and hummers. Deer tend to be uninterested in them. They grow well in containers. The blossoms of the taller varieties are great in flower bouquets, both fresh and dried. Lower growing sedum are great for groundcover. Sedum are also known as Stonecrop.
