Fenton Hobnail Sauce and Underplate Milk Glass

This handsome milk glass sauce bowl and underplate were made by the Fenton Glass Co. The pattern is Hobnail, which was first produced in milk glass by Fenton in 1950. It became quite popular after that and kept the company going in difficult years. This set was made for marmalade, sauce or mayonnaise. Sizes - bowl: 2 5/8 in. high x 4 in. wide; plate: 6 1/8 in. diameter x 7/8 in. deep. There is one chip on the base of the bowl (see last photo). Otherwise, both pieces are in very good condition; the damage described is reflected in the price.
