Rare Antique Art Nouveau Gold Locket Victorian Horse Horseshoe Ornate c.1890

A Wonderful and Rare Antique Art Nouveau Gold Locket Victorian Horse with Horseshoe, circa 1890. This beautiful antique piece in composed of antique gold filled and was made in the late Victorian - Art Nouveau period, circa 1890. I have never seen another quite like this. The front is designed with a horse inside of a lucky horseshoe that is adorned with dark paste stones in varying shades. The locket opens and closes and measures about 1 1/16 inches long with bail by about 7/8 inch wide. The locket dates to the late 1800's and is in lovely overall condition for its age. It comes with 17 inch gunmetal chain so that it is ready to wear. A lovely and rare find.
