A Wonderful Pair of Vintage Victorian - Georgian Revival Earrings with Faceted Rose de France Amethyst Gems in Etruscan Revival Gold Upon Sterling Silver Settings. These estate earrings are done in the Georgian - Victorian Revival Style and are adorned with approximately 11 x 9mm oval faceted deep rose de France amethyst gemstones at center. These stones are gorgeous.
The settings are Etruscan Revival Style, the elegant simplicity of ancient Roman jewelry found in archaeological digs, and composed of yellow gold upon sterling silver. Each earring measures about 15/16 inch long from wire top to bottom by about 9/16 inch wide from side to side. These earrings were acquired through an estate collection and are in lovely vintage condition.
