Pachypodium succulentum var. griquense Family: Apocynaceae. A nice shrubby caudiciform species of Pachypodium. Very similar to P. bispinosum but differs in the flowers and it seems to be less heavily branched. Not difficult to grow. Experiences light frost in its native South Africa, but any hard frost can kill it. Likes water during the growing season as long as it is in well drained soil. Should be kept fairly dry in the winter.
