1 live Plant - Portulaca molokeniensis - Size 4" #KYPS16
Portulaca molokeniensis Family: Portulacaceae. A cute plant notable for being one of the few native Hawaiian plants start out herbaceous but form a semi-woody stem in time and branch. Leaves are truncated or rounded and clasp the stem. They often arrange themselves in vertical rows that give a unique look to the plant. They produce bright yellow flowers at the end of a long stem. Easy to grow. Give normal succulent care. Doesn't like to be overly dry during the growing season. Is more shade tolerant than most succulents (though it still needs good light especially to have the best yellow color). Being from Hawaii it does like a bit of warmth in the winter, though it isn't super sensitive to cool temperatures.
