Antique Akoya Pearl Brooch Vintage Art Deco Circle Wreath Pin Silver

A Gorgeous Antique Akoya Pearl Brooch Vintage Art Deco Pin Japanese with Sterling Silver, circa 1930-50's. This beautiful classic piece is composed of 15 genuine Japanese Akoya Salt Water Pearl, each measuring about 4mm in diameter. These are lovely pearls with beautiful sheen and luster, similar to those pearls found in Mikimoto pearls. The Mikimoto pearl company sold extra pearls to other jewelers in the area during this time period. The setting is composed of fine sterling silver. The brooch measures about 1 3/8 inch in diameter. It closes securely with original safety style clasp. The brooch is estimated to date to the Art Deco Era, circa 1930-50's and is in lovely vintage condition.
