Antique Sapphire Paste Necklace Art Deco c.1920 Wedding Lavaliere

A Wonderful Antique Sapphire Paste Necklace Art Deco c.1920. This fabulous antique necklace dates to the 1920's, Art Deco Period. The necklace holds beautifully faceted sapphire French paste stones set into an Art Deco filigree setting. The setting has a very unique silver gilt finish that has worn a bit to show the gold colored base which has aged to a natural deep patina over the years. The original necklace has been lovingly restored with gunmetal chain and secure clasp. Overall the necklace measures about 16 1/2 inches long. The center measures about 1 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide. This piece was acquired through an estate collection and is estimated to date circa 1920.
