Antique Vintage Egyptian Revival Locket Pendant Necklace Czech Glass 1920

A Wonderful Antique - Vintage Egyptian Revival Locket, with Czech Art Glass center, c.1920. This wonderful locket in the Egyptian Revival style, first made popular in the 1920's after the discovery of King Tut's tomb. The Egyptian theme was widespread in the Art Deco Era and had several revivals after than over the decades. The locket holds a czech glass piece in the middle in lapis blue with an Egyptian head. There is a slight chip to the nose mentioned for accuracy. The locket measures about 2 1/8 inches long with bail by about 1 3/8 inches wide. The locket was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition with natural patina on the inside from years of existence.
