Antique Akoya Pearl Necklace Strand Art Deco Vintage 1920

A Gorgeous Antique Genuine Japanese Akoya Pearl Strand Necklace, Art Deco, c.1920, With Fine Silver Hand Etched Clasp. The necklace is composed of 54 genuine cultured akoya ocean pearls. They are genuine salt water Akoya ocean pearls. The pearls have a beautiful luster in the light. It is quite a process to find as many beautifully matched, round graduated pearls as seen here in this piece. The pearls are about 6mm in diameter. The strand measures approximately 15 7/8 inches in length from clasp to pearl end. They date circa 1920 - 1940's and are in lovely vintage condition.
