"The bright green select or champagne style (this one could be called either way) bottle pictured to the left is a machine-made, 12 oz. size with a crown cap accepting finish made around 1930. The base has the embossing "30F" which is suspected to be a 1930 date code from some unknown glass factory (Lockhart pers. comm. 2005). The base also has a distinct suction scar that indicates production by the Owens Automatic Bottle Machine. Machine-made examples in this champagne style with a crown cap were typically used for beverages (beer and more so for soda) from the mid 1910s to 1950s. In this bright green color, the bottle was most likely used for soda."

All bottles just rinsed with water, left in condition as they were when found buried at the beach. 9 1/2" Tall x 2 1/2" wide

Bottle #1 = Some internal chips and dings holds water. Stamped "28" on the bottom.

Bottle #2 = Some internal fractures, holds water. Stamped "6" on the bottom.

Bottles #3 & #4 = Some scuffs, good condition. Stamped "30F" on the bottom
