A Wonderful Pair of Vintage Victorian - Georgian Revival Earrings with Faceted Amethyst Gems in Etruscan Revival Gold Gilt Upon Sterling Silver Settings. These estate earrings are done in the Georgian - Victorian Revival Style and are adorned with faceted amethyst gems. The settings are Etruscan Revival Style, the elegant simplicity of ancient Roman jewelry found in archaeological digs, and composed of gold gilt upon sterling silver. Each earring measures about 1 5/16 inches long from wire top to bottom by about 1/2 inch wide from side to side. These earrings were acquired through an estate collection and are in lovely vintage condition.
