A Stunning Antique Aquamarine Paste Necklace, Art Deco - Victorian, circa 1920, with 20 inch Silver Chain. This fabulous antique piece holds a faceted aquamarine blue paste stone at its center measuring about 11mm in diameter. It is set in antique sterling silver with rose cut marcasite, a substitute for diamonds in centuries past. The silver has beautiful floral details and flowing openwork. The pendant is marked 800 for 800 European Silver. The chain is sterling silver. The pendant portion measures about 1 5/8 inches long by about 7/8 inch wide. The chain is about 20 inches long. This piece dates to the late Victorian to Art Deco period and is in lovely vintage condition. A stunning piece of antique jewelry.
