The original green marbled binding, and has a matching beige coloured spine with green label0.and gilt lettering. The binding is in Very Good + condition with corner knocks, edge wear and slight shelf lean. This is an extremely attractive binding.
There are 303 numbered pages, top edges green, with patterned endpapers, a Foreword by John Galsworthy, and colour illustrations throughout by McKnight Kauffer. The pages are in overall Near Fine condition.
This is a very attractive and collectable example of Green Mansions, with the most incredible illustrations throughout this book by W.H. Hudson.
