1910 ALBANY, NEW YORK High School - Color Postcard - Used
Here's an historical color photo postcard from Albany, showing the very ornate brick and stone High School. In the upper left corner is the number "9927". The back indicates it was "Made in Germany" and published by "A. C. Bosselman & Co., New York".
The card is postmarked on August 8, 1910, from Hudson, N.Y., and is addressed to a Miss Louise Krause in Oak Park, Illinois. The writer mentions being on a steamer down the Hudson River.
Size: 3½" x 5½"
Date: Postmarked 1910 but the card itself has no copyright date.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. It's obviously postally used but with only slightly scuffed edges and "bumped" corners. There is, however, noticeable "ghosting" of the postmark ink across the sky above the school (See scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
