Antique Australian Opal Diamond Pendant Necklace Vintage 14K White Gold Art Deco 1930

An Exceptional Antique Australian Opal and Diamond Necklace, Vintage 14K White Gold, Retro Art Deco Period, circa 1930-1950's. This is one of the most beautiful opal necklaces that I have come across in a while. The pendant holds a genuine Australian Opal gemstone measuring about 10 x 7mm. It displays beautiful natural colors in the light with lots of warm reddish tones, a sign that the stone was expertly cut. The opal is joined by fourteen (14) sprarkling white diamonds. The opals is set in 14K white gold. The opal is suspended on a 14K white gold chain, marked on clasp, that measures about 23 inches long. The pendant portion measures about 3/4 inch long by about 1/2 inch wide. This necklace is estimated to date to the Retro Art Deco Era 1930-1950's and is in lovely vintage condition.
