A Wonderful Antique Gold Locket, Vintage Art Nouveau - Victorian Puffy Heart for Necklace, by Shiman MFG. Co. of Newark N.J., circa 1920. This beautiful antique puffy heart locket is composed of 10K yellow gold. It has lovely Art Nouveau - Edwardian period detailing around the edge and a central heart design. It is marked ESEMCO for the Shiman MFG. Co. of Newark N.J., a leading jewelry company of the time founded in 1906. This piece dates circa 1920, Art Nouveau - Edwardian Period. Overall it measures about 1 inch long with bail by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. It opens to reveal both of the original bezels for photos or keepsakes. This is from an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition. A rare find.
